I think I just got an offer of promotion to being editor of the Asahi Newspaper. Excuse me while I go freak out in a corner.

I'm not quite sure what to say to it, actually. On the one hand, the job would give me so much more money and I would be able to finally get a house for Hikaru and I to live in, instead of our cramped apartment. On the other hand...I've heard it's very stressful and I wouldn't be able to do my interviews with people. I enjoy talking to people beyond the reporters in my company. But this would give me a lot more influence and be able to help other reporters in their careers in a way that the previous editor didn't.....

Decisions, decisions. At least he gave me a week~!
